Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival for the 6 Days Flying Gorilla Trekking Safari in Rwanda- Kigali City

Upon your arrival at the airport, you are welcomed by a Silverback Gorilla Tours safari guide and private safari guide, transfer to Kigali Serena Hotel for a briefing and relaxation.

Day 2: Kigali City Tour – Helicopter Flight to Volcanoes National Park

After breakfast, you will visitkigali genocide memorial site before transferring to the airport for a charter flight to volcanoes National Park.

Dinner and overnight at Bisate Lodge

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

Tracking mountain gorillas in their natural habitat of Volcanoes National Park is a great experience that will stay with you every waking moment. Wake up early so that the driver transfers you to the briefing area at the park headquarters. Get to enjoy the traditional dances and coffee as you wait to receive the briefing from the ranger guide. You will be given information on the groups to trek and you transfer to meet your ranger guide. After the briefing, you start your trek into the jungles of volcanoes National Park. You are as well advised to take up a porter to help with your day pack and some of your gadgets. Once you meet the gentle giants, you will interact with them as you take some photos for strictly 1 hour.

After the trek, have lunch at the lodge and then proceed for a visit to the Ibycwa people and get to learn about their way of living as well as enjoying cultural performances like the local dances and songs. Day 4: Golden Monkey Tracking.

This will be an optional day for the clients, they can chose to relax at the lodge or go out for golden monkey tracking experience or they can as well visit the Dian Fossey museum in Musanze.

Day 5: Second Gorilla Tracking Experience.
