Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival in Arusha, you will be welcomed by the Silverback Tour representative and transferred to your hotel for check-in and relaxation. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a short city experience, visit a local craft centre or simply relax at the lodge as you prepare for the days ahead. Your safari guide will brief you about the programme, including the destinations, expected activities and general safari arrangements. You will have an opportunity to discuss the safari schedule and prepare any personal items required for the upcoming wildlife experiences. Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you will depart Arusha and travel towards Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s outstanding wildlife destinations. Tarangire is particularly recognised for its large elephant populations, ancient baobab trees, seasonal wetlands and open savannah landscapes. During the game drive, you may encounter elephants, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, impalas, buffaloes, warthogs and numerous bird species. Your experienced safari guide will help you identify wildlife and explain the behaviour and ecological importance of the different species you encounter. After exploring the park, you will proceed to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by the atmosphere of the African wilderness.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Big Five Safari

During your game drive, you may encounter lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles and other species, while the crater is also an important habitat for black rhinoceros. You may also explore areas associated with the Great Migration, particularly if your safari coincides with the movement of wildebeest and zebras through the Serengeti ecosystem. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed during the day’s exploration before you continue with additional game viewing in the afternoon. In the evening, you will return to your lodge or camp for dinner, relaxation and another night in the heart of the Serengeti.

Day 7: Serengeti to Arusha and Departure

You will then continue towards Arusha by road or take an optional scheduled flight, depending on the arrangements made for your safari. On arrival in Arusha, you will be transferred to the airport or another agreed departure point for your onward journey.
