Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Big Five Safari
You will have an early breakfast before descending into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a full morning and afternoon wildlife safari. The crater offers a spectacular natural setting containing grasslands, wetlands, woodland and open plains that support a wide range of wildlife. During your game drive, you will search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles and other animals found within the crater. You may also have an opportunity to spot rhinoceros, making Ngorongoro an important destination for a Tanzania Big Five safari. Your professional guide will select suitable areas for wildlife viewing while explaining the behaviour of animals and the ecology of the crater. You will enjoy a picnic lunch during your exploration before continuing with additional game viewing across the crater floor. Day 4: Departure
After breakfast, you will begin your journey from the Ngorongoro area towards Arusha for your departure. As you travel towards Arusha, you will enjoy views of the surrounding countryside and have time to reflect on your Tanzania wildlife safari experience. On arrival in Arusha, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport, Arusha Airport or another agreed departure point.
