Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you will depart Arusha and drive towards Tarangire National Park, beginning your exciting Tanzania wildlife safari. The journey takes you through the beautiful countryside, with opportunities to see local communities, farms and changing landscapes as you approach the park. After entering Tarangire, you will begin your first game drive through its open savannah, woodland and seasonal wetland habitats. The park is well known for its elephants and impressive baobab trees, while you may also encounter giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, impalas, warthogs and a variety of bird species. Your experienced safari guide will help you identify wildlife and explain the ecology of the park as you explore its scenic landscapes. After enjoying lunch, you will continue with an afternoon game drive before proceeding to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Tarangire to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Crater Safari
After breakfast, you will leave Tarangire and travel towards the magnificent Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying scenic views of northern Tanzania along the way. As you approach the Ngorongoro Highlands, the landscape changes from the warmer savannah environment into elevated countryside with spectacular views. You will proceed towards the crater area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an exciting wildlife game drive. The crater contains diverse habitats that support a wide range of wildlife, giving you opportunities to search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles and other species. You may also have an opportunity to encounter rhinoceros, making Ngorongoro an important destination for a Tanzania Big Five safari. After enjoying a picnic lunch and additional wildlife viewing, you will ascend from the crater and proceed to your accommodation for dinner and relaxation.

Day 3: Departure
After breakfast, you will leave the Ngorongoro area and begin your journey towards Arusha for your departure. Depending on your flight schedule, you may enjoy a short morning activity or scenic drive before leaving the spectacular Ngorongoro Highlands. As you travel towards Arusha, you will have opportunities to appreciate the changing scenery and reflect on the wildlife experiences of the safari. Your guide will ensure that you arrive in Arusha in good time for your airport transfer or onward travel arrangements. On arrival, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport, Arusha Airport or another agreed departure point. Silverback Tour will coordinate your departure transfer according to your flight schedule and ensure that your safari concludes smoothly. This marks the end of your 3 Days Tarangire and Ngorongoro Safari, leaving you with memorable experiences of Tanzania’s wildlife, landscapes and natural heritage.
