Day 1: Arrival in Arusha and Safari Briefing
Your 10 Days Tanzania Wildlife, Cultural and Beach Safari begins with your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, where you will be welcomed by a Silverback Tour representative. You will be transferred to your accommodation in Arusha, a major gateway to Tanzania’s famous northern safari circuit. After checking in, you will have time to relax and recover from your journey before the safari begins. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a short orientation around Arusha or simply make use of the hotel’s facilities. Your safari guide will brief you about the upcoming programme, including the national parks, cultural experiences, game drives and Zanzibar extension. You will enjoy dinner and spend the night in Arusha, ready for an exciting wildlife adventure.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you will depart Arusha and drive towards Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most fascinating wildlife destinations. The park is famous for its large elephant herds, impressive baobab trees and diverse wildlife habitats. On arrival, you will begin your first Tanzania safari game drive, exploring open grasslands, woodland and areas surrounding the Tarangire River. Your guide will help you search for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, antelopes and a variety of bird species. Predators such as lions and leopards may also be encountered depending on wildlife movements and the day’s conditions. After lunch, you will continue exploring the park before proceeding to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight accommodation.

Day 3: Tarangire to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Cultural Experience

Along the way, you can enjoy views of rural communities, agricultural areas and the highlands surrounding the Great Rift Valley. You will have the opportunity to participate in a cultural experience where you can learn about local traditions, daily life, crafts and community practices. Depending on the agreed programme, the cultural visit may include interaction with a local community or a visit to a traditional village. You will then continue towards the Ngorongoro highlands and check into your accommodation. Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Big Five Safari
Today you will descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for one of the highlights of your Tanzania wildlife safari. After an early breakfast, your guide will drive you towards the crater descent road before entering the spectacular natural landscape below. The crater supports a wide range of wildlife, giving you opportunities to search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles and other species. With patience and favourable conditions, you may also encounter black rhinos in suitable areas of the crater. You will enjoy a picnic lunch at an appropriate location while surrounded by the spectacular scenery of the crater. Your afternoon game drive will continue before you ascend from the crater and return to your accommodation. You will spend the entire day exploring the magnificent Serengeti National Park on an extensive wildlife safari. Your guide will search for lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and large herds of wildebeest.
